For me, nature is never dead, it's an explosion of color and life. It's much more than a simple composition, it's a subtle interplay of light, texture and balance. Each fruit, vase and fabric becomes a pretext for exploring matter, color and the passage of time. To paint a still life is to capture the beauty of the everyday, to reveal the poetry of the ordinary. In the apparent stillness there is a vibration, a presence.
Roads are a metaphor for inner journeys and destiny. Horizons are an invitation to escape and to the unknown. Each journey is an encounter with a light, an atmosphere, an emotion. To paint a landscape is to capture the moment, to prolong the escape and to share the beauty of the world through my eyes. Colours, shadows, atmosphere... Each canvas is a fragment of travel, an invitation to feel the soul of a place far beyond the image...
Pots possess a timeless beauty. Their simple shapes, textures and play of light and shadow make them rich subjects. Through painting, I seek to capture their silent presence, between fragility and solidity, between function and poetry.
I'm passionate about animals. I try to capture the intensity of a look, the softness of a coat or the majesty of a posture. Through my paintings, I seek to convey the emotion and respect that animals inspire in me, while offering everyone the possibility of welcoming into their homes a fragment of nature...
The human body is an infinitely rich landscape, a harmony of curves, lights and shadows. Through the nude, I seek to capture not only things, but a presence, an emotion, a breath. To paint a body is to explore beauty in its sincerity without artifice, to reveal the softness of a skin, the tension of a muscle, the fragility of an instant.
